Ashbury Home & Living didn’t start in a boardroom — it started at a kitchen table, on an evening when the house looked fine… but felt strangely empty.

The lamps were on, but the light lacked warmth. The furniture was there, but nothing told a story. That’s when we realised: a house can look complete and still not feel like home.

From that feeling, Ashbury Home & Living was born.

We created Ashbury Home & Living to be more than just an online store. We wanted to build a place where people can find pieces that add soul to a space — warm lighting that softens the end of a long day, décor that holds memories, and details that make you smile every time you walk into the room.

Ashbury Home & Living was founded by two friends from the Netherlands — one 23, one 22 — who turned a shared passion for interior design into a real business. We have been close friends for years, and entrepreneurship felt like a natural next step to take together.

As an online business, we operate without a physical retail store. We are based in the United Kingdom, and work with a fulfilment team based in China who handle our warehousing and shipping — allowing us to serve our customers efficiently and with care. Our internal team currently consists of 6 people who keep everything running day to day.
